"Getting the right fold"
Here's the first great news about a menstrual cup: you don't just ram the whole, unfolded thing full-on into your vagina, like you're sitting on some kind of rubberized egg cup. Rather, you fold it.
Amica has two main folding styles.
We recommend practicing using both folding methods to see which one works best for you. All bodies are different and what may work smoothly for one user, may not work as well for another.

#1 Push down fold
Place a finger on the top rim of the cup. Press that finger down into the center of the inside base of the cup. Hold your Amica cup in this position and insert.
|
# 2 The -C- foldSimply pinch the cup closed. Finally, press the sides of the cup and then fold it in half. Once you see the C, hold your Amica cup in this position and insert.

Cleaning and Caring Amica cup
Menstrual cup cleaning is simple. They wash easily and will last for years with proper care. Amica cup can be worn safely for up to twelve hours — unless you have a heavy period, and are changing more frequently, you won’t need to clean your cup more than twice a day. If you find that you have a heavier flow, you may opt to rinse with water in-between your twice daily washes.
Disinfect your Amica cup
After your cycle has finished, wash and thoroughly rinse your Amica cup, then disinfect it so it is ready for your next period. To disinfect your cup you can boil your Amica cup. Boiling your Amica cup is the recommended method to disinfect your Amica. Simply boil your Amica for 2–3 minutes. Check the tiny suction holes of your Amica and clean the pinholes with a simple drugstore soft thin tooth-brush.

Store Amica cupAlways store your menstrual cup in a well-ventilated area in the pouch provided. Never store your menstrual cup in an air tight container such as a tin or zip-lock bag.
Your Amicacup came with a little bag, and that really should be it's home when you're not using it.
